Plus+

I am so honored to have been introduced to the Founder and President of Plus+, Nicki Lynch. From our conversation, I learned that she is a caring, ambitious, and courageous women with a plan. I am so excited to be attending the official Launch of Plus+, in Atlanta on August 10th. To give you some background about Plus +: Mission: Our mission is to promote “PLUS Positivity” ™ by empowering plus size men and women globally, to impact their local communities. We focus on the areas of personal & professional development, community service, fashion and entertainment. Plus+: + Promoting  size diversity in the fashion and entertainment industries (with a touch of class) + Enabling plus size men and women to  gain the skills and knowledge that will allow them to overcome obstacles in life, and to employ that strength when engaging with society.  + Encouraging  volunteerism to positively impact our ...communities. Some of the Programs that will be offered are: Heart to Heart: A open discussion on topics affecting daily life. Some topics that will be discussed is bullying, sexual and physical abuse and much more. MaKenzie Matters: A program focused on providing CPR awareness and education, ensuring that families of children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Units are able to thrive through community support, and giving positive experiences to the children in need. See Positive: Self- Esteem Campaign mission is to help the youth see positive within themselves and their future by  providing  mentor-ship opportunities to build self-esteem through education , advocacy, social media, and visual promotions . Renaissance Man University is a program designed to enhance the lives of men through education and sharing of life skills.
